H&Y K-SERIES FILTERS

The K-series Neutral Density line boasts many features which comes as a result of spending quality time with photographers to find out what is most important to them when shooting out in the field. It is important to us to make sure we produce a line of filters that are versatile, and easy to use, tough enough to withstand all the elements and have no compromise on image quality. Let’s face it, how an image passes through the glass is the most important function of any filter. You can expect outstanding performance in colour with little to no shift, retained sharpness when zooming in on long exposure shots & heavily reduced flare and reflection due to the hardened, multi layer High Definition coating on both sides of the glass.

GET TOUGH WITH CORNING® GORILLA® GLASS

At the very heart of H&Y filters, we have taken our manufacturing process to the toughest level by incorporating technology from Corning®. The glass we use is Gorilla® Glass 3 which is not only chemically strengthened — its atomic configuration is formulated so that the glass is more durable. Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 is fundamentally tougher and more damage resistant even before chemical strengthening. And yet, how tough is it? Gorilla® Glass 3 enables improved damage resistance and toughness compared to previous Gorilla glass compositions. This is a unique feature of Gorilla® Glass 3. Something Corning is able to provide due to a proprietary glass composition that is better able to resist the deep scratches that cause glass to break.

STACKABLE

One of the many benefits to H&Y magnetic system is the ability to stack filters. As there are no guided rails required to attach filters, you simply stack up to 3 filters magnetically. The first filter can be locked into place on the side of the holder with any additional stacked filters being able to slide up and down with little effort. Remember, you still have the option to use a H&Y 95mm drop in filter to the rear of the mount offering even more versatility in a square filter holder system.

DROP IN FILTERS

In addition to our 100x100mm and 100x150mm filters, you can drop in one 95mm circular filter encased in a lightweight aluminium frame. This adds additional versatility when shooting landscape by being able to use Circular Polarising filters, as well as solid Neutral Density including 10 stops for long exposure photography, all of this while stacking multiple graduated filters using our patented magnetic holder system.
